Version 3.6.0 introduces the requested single page PDF advice in the View single advice module. Also it fixes some specific Internet Explorer 7 shortcomings with Javascript objects. Finally a new layout for the toolbar has been implemented.

Version improvements

The View single advice module now offers two different PDF reports: a summary and a full report. Clicking the smaller PDF logo will create the newly introduced summary report, and the larger icon will generate a full report.
Internet Explorer 7 users have mentioned problems with their browser while using PROTIDE. These problems are related to shortcomings in the Internet Explorer 7 browser and have been solved.
The layout of the toolbar has been changed to be less obtrusive. The login screen can now be found behind the Log in option in the top right of the screen.

Messages

Installed versions of PROTIDE 3.6.6 optionally perform calculations. This is used in a new system setup where we have:

Two services that handle web requests and keep the data up-to-date in a fail over configuration and
eight services to load balance the calculations.

The eight calculation services are moved to new hardware with high end Intel Xeon X5690 processors. As a result users will experience significant shorter calculation times.

Version 3.6.5 fixes a specific problem that caused the advice route to lay outside the open and closure of the tidal window in rare circumstances.

Version 3.6.4 contains a work around for a failed squat calculation. When the standard squat calculation fails (Error: Result of sinkage calculation is "not a number") we use the Tuck-Taylor formula as a fall back for the squat calculation. It remains to be investigated what caused the original error.

Version 3.6.3 fixes a bug for a special circumstance within the PROTIDE data predictor cascade. When multiple data prediction locations are available with different prediction timespans, selecting the best prediction data was not guaranteed. This bugfix ensures the best available data.

Version 3.6.2 has disabled the pitch and roll diagrams in the online advice report as well as the PDF report.

For the Euro-/Maasgeul a new berth has been added as requested: Lage Licht. The other berths can not be easily removed because of historical tidal window advices.

Version 3.6.1 changes the name of the ministry in the summary PDF advice.
