Protide prototype
PROTIDE stands for 'PRobabilistic TIDal window Estimation'. It is a tidal window advice program, which will be used for determining tidal windows within the 'euro-maas-geul' and 'ijgeul'. A probabilistic safe passage will be stipulated taking into account the waterlevels, current (direction) and motion.
Prototype
PROTIDE is under development since 2007 and is in a prototype phase. The objective is to combine the state-of-the-art knowledge on probabilistic tidal window calculations and deliver a full application early in 2009.
